TAXALI MASJID: Located at the beginning of the notorious "HEERA MANDI" | Ustad Daman & his Baithak!!

The Mosque (ٹیکسالی والی مسجد) was named after the Taxali Gate and thus was known as Taxali Wali Masjid. Shah jahani Masjid was built in the reign of Shah Jahan by the Abdullah Naib of Fida e khan kooka. Ustad Daman, who was a Punjabi poet, writer, and mystic also spent his life in the small room of this masjid called “ustad daman di bethak (استاد دامن دی بیٹھک)”
